10 years ago, God presented me with an amazing opportunity to serve women. I worked for a non-profit organization, helping women to become, and remain, successfully employed. Part of landing the job is having the right look! During the 5 years I worked as a boutique coordinator in my hometown, I suited more than 400 women using donated clothing and accessories. They wore sizes 00-4X, each with different body types and personalities.

 
My artistic creativity was not only helpful, it was absolutely necessary. 

Once hired, each woman came back for a week’s worth of clothing to get her working wardrobe started. I was creating “capsule wardrobes” before I knew capsule wardrobes were a thing!

My attention to detail and keen eye for style seems to have been imbedded in my DNA, as my dad made decisions about color every day in his work with a construction company that helped churches to expand or renovate. Using it makes me feel as though I’m tapping into a purpose God thoughtfully tucked into my head and heart...so I can teach women how to appreciate His artistry and value their natural beauty.​​

In 2012, I completed a certification in Christian Image Consulting through Fashion Meets Faith, under founder, Shari Braendel. (The company is now known as Style by Color, and I serve as their Communication and Design Manager!) What Shari taught me has become invaluable in my work. I continue to study with Style by Color and have completed advanced

training in Myrtle Beach, SC during a Beauty Boot Camp for women seeking a complete makeover experience. I also served as a member of her first Style Squad, coaching women through online services that allowed me to view their closets and assist them with purchases.

I've had the opportunity to serve as a judge for the 4-H Textile Review of PA's Central Region, speak to various women's groups, including both the Harrisburg Area Women's Connection & Hershey Area Women's Connection, and present as a breakout speaker for several women's ministry events

throughout South Central PA.

In addition to my image consulting business, I own a social media and graphic design business to help other image consultants style their online presence, The Social Style Kit. I also work as the Communications and Design Manager for Style by Color.
